Official AMC event – paid membership is required.
Come join us as we top rope the west side of Mt. Elden in Flagstaff. West Elden offers sweet but challenging climbing on basalt cracks. West Elden also provides a great opportunity to practice setting up trad anchors. We’ll set up several routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.10.
We’ll meet at the Basha’s grocery store on the corner of Humphreys Street and Fort Valley Road in Flagstaff at 8:30am and leave by 8:45am sharp!
After climbing for the day we’ll head into Flagstaff to grab a bite at Beaver Street Brewery or the Lumber Yard. On Sunday, there will be an informal hike up to Humphreys Peak for those that are interested in bagging Arizona’s tallest mountain.
No-shows and last-minute drops are not appreciated – if you can’t go, drop early to give others a chance. You will be added to the waitlist until I can confirm your paid membership. Participation will be limited to 16 people. Thanks!
